The Coastal Wav​es Fine Art Gallery opened its doors in July 2023. The home gallery is filled with local Northern Vancouver Island art, created by Kathy Harder, and showcases the beauty of the Canadian West Coast region through paint and brushstrokes. Broughton Archipelago
Broughton Archipelago Park is the largest marine park in British Columbia and is located between the north end of Vancouver Island and the Coast Mountains. The area contains dozens of undeveloped islands and islets and is a favourite adventure destination for boaters and kayakers. The Broughton Archipelago also features spectacular wildlife viewing.
First Nation peoples have utilized these islands for generations and there is abundant opportunities to view their cultural history with remnants of white midden beaches, culturally modified trees, and a petroglyph.
