"MOODY BLUES"

numas island, northern vancouver island

Broughton Archipelago Park is the largest marine park in British Columbia and is located between the north end of Vancouver Island and the Coast Mountains. The area contains dozens of undeveloped islands and islets and is a favorite adventure destination for boaters and kayakers. The Broughton Archipelago also features spectacular wildlife viewing.

First Nation peoples have utilized these islands for generations and there is abundant opportunities to view their cultural history with remnants of white midden beaches, culturally modified trees, and a petroglyph.

This is an acrylic painting with a view of the Numas Islands with the mainland mountain range.
