Clinton is a small community located in the Cariboo/Chilcotin region of British Columbia. The area is filled with numerous lakes that will delight the flyfishing enthusiasts and anglers of all ages. Loon Lake supports a rainbow trout fishery that contributes to the outstanding fishing experience.
The region is filled with historic interest which include the Hudson Bay Company fur trade routes and the Cariboo Gold Rush Trail. There are still remnants from those who passed through the area long ago with the hope of “striking it rich”.
There is a rich history in ranching and many families have been in the area for many generations. The Cariboo is also home to hundreds of feral horses that freely roam the meadow and pasture lands.
