The home gallery is filled with local Northern Vancouver Island art, created by Kathy Harder, and showcases the beauty of the Canadian West Coast region through paint and brushstrokes. Nature enthusiasts from all over the world marvel at the beauty that the West Coast of Vancouver Island has on display. Regions of the West Coast are known for their rugged, remote shorelines as well as the long expanses of pristine beaches. There is abundant marine wildlife in this area which includes orca, humpback, and gray whales, as well as sealions, seals, and sea otters. For birdwatchers, over 300 bird species that have been sighted and recorded.
There is nothing more beautiful and breathtaking than a West Coast sunset. The expansive colorful sky is filled with constant changes of yellow, orange, and pink colours that will causes you to stand in awe as you watch the dazzling show. Long Beach, located between Tofino and Ucluelet, is a popular visitor destination that lets you enjoy all the West Coast has to offer.
